Hi! My name is Katie and besides being the very proud owner and designer at Blue Kitty Designs, I'm also a stay at home mom of 5 (including twins!) and wife to a very craft tolerant husband. As you can imagine, things can get hectic around here but it all works out by the end of the day (or week or month or...).

Most of my designs are practical ones with a little whimsy thrown in on occasion. Basically my inspiration comes from ideas that I would want and use and the fact that there never seems to be exactly what I'm looking for out there already. As they say, necessity is the mother of invention!
