kwb and project linus...

As part of my "give back" philosophy, I donate 5% of of all Etsy sales to Doctors without Borders (Knitters without Borders) each month and all scraps from my sewing projects are saved to create quilts for Project Linus.

Knitters without Borders was created by The Yarn Harlot and Stephanie has raised over $430,000 for Doctors without Borders since Jan 2005! It boggles the mind what a good person with a mission can accomplish.

I hope to average a $30 to $50 donation monthly with a minimum of $10 in a slow month. Together we can make the world a better place, one knit stitch and dollar at a time.

October 2007 Donation: $28
November 2007: $50
December 2007: $45
January 2008: $25
February 2008: $23
March 2008 $20
April 2008 $40

Total: $231

Our mission is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer "blanketeers."
